Well my brain let me sleep for about a full 8 jphoirs last night, and I have 4 hours to get shit done before I go to work. So pretty freaking great.

Drivers were all assholes this morning, one questionable incident with a construction worker (more on that later on—I’ll leave it up to Oppo) but other than that not bad.

I was sound asleep when all of a sudden I got a charliehorse? (kind of like a cramp, in Spanish it’s a calambre). I got it on my left calf and it hurt like a mofo. I was in zombie sleep mode and couldn’t get my foot pointed up to relieve the pain. What a sucky way to wake up 10 before my alarm went off at 5:30.
But besides that, I had breakfast on a work day for the first time in 500 bazillion years. I’m actually awake at this hour where usually i’m in zombie mode til about 2pm.
As far as car stuff, I saw a clean Ferrari 355 and a rad V10 Audi S8 modded very clean in black. Sounded very good.

Merged on the highway to the middle lane, right next to an Acadia. Because of course the older lady was doing the speed limit in the passing lane. Was there for all of 1 second and she decided she needed to be right where I was. My car is louder than it has any right to be and I was on the horn for 5 seconds. Never the less, she fully switched lanes and gave a look of bewilderment as I passed her.

Woke up in a decent mood, which swiftly changed to a shitty mood when I began trying to get my youngest ready to go to summer camp. My office door is currently closed, and will probably remain that way for much of the day if I have any say in the matter. Going to try and go work out at lunch, but the frustration from dealing with my youngest this morning kind of sucked the motivation out of me.
As far as automotive-ness, I did not get a chance to really open up the IS on the way to work this morning like I wanted to. Also, the low oil light keeps coming on/off sporadically. So I need to figure out what that is all about.
So yeah.

Stuff seems to be malfunctioning left and right on me today.
Last night my car decided to kill a coilpack, so I thought “oh you know what, lets do it right, just buy that set of 8 ”.
Come in to work, open laptop, open the database I was working on late last night and I’ve lost 6+ hours worth of data, zip zilch gone.
Then. My iphone (on its 3rd screen) has finally decided to give up the ghost and stop responding to touch inputs - I’m not swapping it again. Time to buy another. Funny how a set of MSD blasters costs almost as much as an iPhone.
Nothing a cup of coffee and a cigarette can’t fix mind.

Up at 6, mowed the lawn in some unseasonably cool, dry weather (like 70 degrees with low humidity). Back to working my tail off in my home office while I can hear my wife and kids sporadically having fun or going crazy through the walls. Working at home is tough, but the commute kicks ass. I only drive my car a couple times a week now, which is both bad and good.

Alarm went off at 6:50 and I believe I turned it off instead of snoozed it and woke up at 7:58. (Supposed to be in the office at 8). Luckily its not really that much of an issue since I got there around 8:20. Now I’m just tired.

Feeling old this morning. I went mountain biking last night, my first workout in over a week. I’m sore and tired and the AC in my car doesn’t work. And this weekend is going to be super busy. Bleh.
